Smoked Salmon: The Rich Flavor of Omega-3
Smoked Salmon
There is no secret that we all should consume some sort of fish in out diets. The push for fish filled diets have been promoted by the The American Heart Association and certified nutritionist the world over. Why fish? Well fish is very healthy for your heart and it contains a significant amount of Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids, also known as EFAs they provide energy to the body and help the body fight cancer and help lower blood pressure….now that is what I call a super food. The Omega -3 Oils are linked to improving or preventing psoriasis and arthritis. I try to get fish in my diet everyday, normally I have it with dinner along with steamed vegetables but sometimes I will use Smoked Salmon to liven up my breakfast. I have tried this rich flavorful salmon and discovered that it can be applied to any meal. I mix it into a spinach omelet for breakfast. I try it freshly squeezed lemons, cilantro and chopped almonds for a mid day snack. Regardless of how it is served you will have the peace of mind that you are consuming a very healthy serving of protein, but leave the salt on the table and take out the pepper because this bad boy needs very little seasoning. Enjoy
